Editing together a little GoPro mtb footage.
Here’s a little video of our first test with an 8ft Kessler Crane. Didn’t want anything too gnarly, so went to the park and followed Patrick about on his bike. Can’t wait to hump the 20kg of gear up a big hill now and test it out on some proper mountain biking.
We made our own DIY Cable Cam and this little video gives you an insight into how we made it and the end results. All biking was filmed on The Beast in the Peak District on a Panasonic GH1. It was rather overcast on the day but we did the best we could.
Another mtb video following my boyfriend around on his mountain bike at Wharncliffe Woods. It was filmed on my GH1. I also took along my glidetrack. Small colour alterations made using Magic Bullet Looks.
I liked the aesthetics of video with DSLR’s so I recently dug deep into my pockets and purchased a Panasonic GH1. This is my first practice.
The video follows my boyfriend mountain biking at Lee Quarry. I also took along my glidetrack.

Patrick on his bike ride from Lands End to John O’Groats. A trip of some 1100 miles with a lot of hills between the start and finish. It’s all for charity & to support me volunteering in India this summer!
He’s my hero.
