Here’s a little video of our first test with an 8ft Kessler Crane. Didn’t want anything too gnarly, so went to the park and followed Patrick about on his bike. Can’t wait to hump the 20kg of gear up a big hill now and test it out on some proper mountain biking.

Stuff we learnt making our DIY Cable Cam...
1) Choose a very slick wheel/pulley, the less rolling resistance the better. We used a set of rollerblade wheels with good quality ABEC 5 bearings in. £79.99 new. On sale for £25, bargain.
2) Braking mechanism is really important. The forces of the unit running into the knot at the end of the rope were enough to bend the steel frame of the cable cam. We used a towel laid over the rope at least...

We made our own DIY Cable Cam and this little video gives you an insight into how we made it and the end results. All biking was filmed on The Beast in the Peak District on a Panasonic GH1. It was rather overcast on the day but we did the best we could.

The race took place on the 2nd January 2011 and includes the infamous cobbled climb! It was an all new experience for me and my first trip watching a cyclocross event. This video was shot on my GH1 and testing out my new Manfrotto 561BHDV Monopod.

Have I ever mentioned that I went to India last summer? Here’s my final video including stuff I filmed for the Raleigh expedition and family hols. A little bit experimental using split screen stuff.

I liked the aesthetics of video with DSLR’s so I recently dug deep into my pockets and purchased a Panasonic GH1. This is my first practice. The video follows my boyfriend mountain biking at Lee Quarry. I also took along my glidetrack. Music is ‘Sweet Disposition’ by The Temper Trap

I’ve been reminiscing a little recently, looking through old photos, and decided I wanted to make a little reminder of our 2004-05 serious fun road trip adventure. I had so many photos sitting on our hard drive I just decided to stitch them all together in chronological order to create a little video of our 9 month trip in 6.30 minutes.
After 2 years of living, loving, climbing, surfing, boarding...

Volunteering with Raleigh in India, 2010
I’m off to India later this year with Raleigh International. I’m volunteering as a videographer on their summer expedition. I’ll be living in the heart of some of the most remote areas in India, filmming and working alongside young venturers on a range of community projects. I first volunteered with Raleigh 10 years ago as a venturer in belize when I was just 18 years old. It was...
